I've always thought about this and have hoped someday they did this during the all-star weekend. I would have to go with Kobe among the guards/forwards. If you're going to pick a big guy, I would think someone like Garnett, Yao, or even Dirk would have a shot.

kobve hands down..he is the most complete player in the nba..offense/defense/clutch/pure talent and skill...I bet that he could probobaly take anyone in nba history..but jordan vs kobe would be awesome.but it would be tough to decide.

So Kg would beat Kobe Bryant? are you crazy? Kobe would kill him offensively hes way to fast for him, and on defense hes only 4 or 5 inches shorter than kg so that along with his already great defense and he could contain him on d.

KG probably would beat kobe if he had killer instinct, but knowing KG he probably wouldnt go to the paint he probably would settle for jumpers....and lose...

I would have to say Wade, Kobe, or Iverson. I mean all of them can shoot good. Known for taking over the game when its on the line. And I mean who can you honestly say that if the NBA was not a team but indivudials then do you really think that anyone could really stop wades mechanics in air or iversons speed or kobe just instinct of scoring without being stoped. Like as a whole team kobe doesnt play but if t was scoring then really thier teams just hold them back.

kg is a good choice but kobe is just a better allaround player..1st team all nba type defender..best offensive player in the game...I even remember players plast year says u can double team/triple team/put all 5 guys on him and kobe can still score..what do u think he would do with just 1 person guarding him???

and like kg isnt double teamed yes kobe can score but the defense is overated he isnt that good at d kg is way better plus he will almost never stop scoring on kobe because kg is too strong and his quickness is underrated

yeah kobes d is overrated...thats why he has made 6 all nba first teams defense..im pretty sure the ppl who chose that can make one mistake but six mistakes I doubt it...Kobe is a geat defender thats why they pick him for that team.

Hands down Kobe Can take everyone. Shaq could not dribble the ball in on Kobe. I think Garnett could do a bettter job, but still Kobe's improved 3-point shot makes him able to outscore most big defenders. This is accomplished because most would play off him more than any player. He has to ability to probe a guys defense with delayed dribbles and crossovers and then rise up with a 35 footer in your eye. Most of the outstanding superstars couldn't take him like D-Wade or lebron because they have decent defense. Kobe's game could be hampered only by good defenders like Bruce Bowen or Raja Bell. Bottom line the guy can do it all plus defend with the best of them. Noone is more complete.

Kobe for sure. He can play defense as well as anybody and he's the most unstoppable scorer to ever play the game. He can put anything up almost and it will go in. He has handles, defense, offense, speed, everything needed for one on one.

although i dont think this is a very great arguement because you cant put a center against a pg. but probably kg. the guy is just too good all around. he can score, rebound, play defense, and is pretty quick for 6"11'.
