Alex Rodriguez Opts Out of Yankees Contract. Where does he go now?
During the middle of Sunday night's Game 4 of the World Series, Agent Scott Boras ended any speculation and said A-Rod is opting out of the final three seasons of his contract with the New York Yankees. Where does A-Rod Fit in now?

I believe the Angels have already told Boras they would give him 7yrs/$210 mil to bat behind Vlad in what would be the deadliest 3-4 punch in the league......i'm sure the Red Sox would love to shove it up the yanks butt even more than winning the series but with Arod & Boras stealing their thunder last night with the announcement during the game ,i think they are pissed off about the situation.The Cubs will be in it because of Pinella.....imagine Arod& Soriano(the guy they traded him for) wind up on the same team & the Yanks have nothing to show for it>Should have never dealt Soriano,he was a born Yankee & would still be in our lineup for alot less $$$ than Gayrod!!! Good luck to the next team that deals with his choking in the playoffs....the Yanks should just try to sign Posada,Rivera & abreu & lay low this year,dump Giambi & Pavanos contract after this year & sign santana & texiera for 2009 .

Well there is one like 3 teams that can afford to sign him and they are Boston Red Sox,LA Angels,and the Chicago Cubs. I think it will either be Boston or Chicago though. Most likely Boston ,remember they already had a deal done 4 years ago for A-Rod but the player union voted against it because it was to low.. So i say he will be in a Red Sox uniform before Christmas.....Lets wait and see....

i dont think boston...just cuz of the chemistry there..they know how arod plays in october..they want lowell back over him...they won the world series without him..y bring in a cancer..i see chicago cubs just because of pinella...soriano lee arod rameriez looks like a nice lineup in the NL

Not Boston, because Lowell won the MVP of the World Series, why would you want to get rid of him, he will probably go wherever offers him the most money, but I really dont think the Red Sox. I think he may possibly go to the Dodgers or Angels. He is also a couple of Home Runs shy of breaking the all time Homer run record for Short Stops, just behind the great Cal, Ripkin Jr, I think he may go where a short stop is needed.
