The
Giants are coming off their bye week, still 3-0, but a star short on offense. Plaxico Burress was suspended one game for missing a team meeting last week. With Eli Manning continuting to improve, these
Giants will be looked upon to fill the void left by Burress.
Amani Toomer: Toomer fill slide into the number one receiver slot, where he was until the arrival of Plaxico in 2005. Toomer is remembered for his big 3rd down catch in overtime against the
Bengals last week. Toomer has 13 receptions for 143 yards and a TD this season.
Steve Smith: Smith will now fill Toomer's role. Smith has been a nice third down target for Manning all season. Smith has 11 catches for 94 yards this season.
Domenik Hixon: Hixon was injured in the season opener, but has stepped in to play a solid number 3 receiver. Hixon shows flashes of a star, not only on a special teams, but in the passing game. He had 3 Touchdowns in the first quarter against the
Browns in the Preseason. Hixon has 6 catches for 89 yards this season.
Kevin Boss: Known as Jeremey Shockeys replacement. Boss is known for his 46 yard gallop on the first play in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl last season. Boss was quiet the first two weeks. He was held with out a catch. When needed most, Boss caught a Big 4th Quarter Touchdown against the
Bengals last week. Boss has 3 receptions for 51 yards this season.
