Do you have running backs that have byes for week 8 or are suffering from injuries? You may be able to fill your line up with the following players who were back to full speed in week 7.
Justin Fargas, Running Back, Oakland
Raiders- Since the firing of Kifin, Fargas has been getting the bulk of the carries in Oakland. Fargas carried the ball 28 times for 74 yards against the
Jets on Sunday. The
Raiders will look to Fargas again against the
Ravens. Like the
Jets, Baltimore has a good run defense, Fargas should get a ton of work.
Ahman Green, Running Back, Houston
Texans- Green carried the ball 14 times for 62 yards and a touchdown in week 7 against the
Lions. Green is the change of pace back to rookie Steve Slaton. The
Texans should be able to run on the
Bengals in week 8.
Aaron Stecker, Running Back, New Orleans
Saints- With Bush out, Stecker will take his spot in the offense. He is the best remaining pass catching back on the
Saints’ roster. The NFL goes international this week as the
Saints and
Chargers go head to head in London.
Cedric Benson, Running Back, Cincinnati
Bengals- He seems to be taking over for Chris Perry in Cincy. Perry did not have a single carry in week 7. Benson had 52 yards on 14 carries in a week 7 loss to Pittsburgh.
