As you adjust your rosters there are some questionable marquis players that you might need to leave on the bench.
Steven Jackson
Last week, Jackson sat out against the
Patriots and is still not at 100%. During practice this week, Antonio Pittman once again got firt-team reps. Sit Jackson this week unless you are content with less than 10 points in production. 7-9 points expected.
Warrick Dunn
Coach Jon Gruden said that playing Dunn against the
Cowboys in week 8 was a mistake. Earnest Graham will get even more carries this week against the
Chiefs and will have a breakout week. Dunn hasn't practiced this week and won't likely see any time. 0-2 points expected.
Reggie Wayne
During week 8, Wayne was slow and lethargic in his route running abilities. Without breakout speed, it looks like Wayne's lost some spark as a down field threat. Wayne was hurt against the
Titans and should be even less of the player we've known over recent years. 3-6 points expected.
Clinton Portis
Against the
Lions, Portis had 120 yards rushing but was injured late in the game with an ankle sprain. The
Redskins will go head to head with the
Steelers on Monday night giving Portis an extra day to rest. He should be good to go in an important game. He will face the best defense in the NFL allowing only 71.6 yards per game on the ground, so don't expect the same numbers as we have seen lately. 10-14 points expected.
