These three wide outs might not be the biggest names in the NFL, but they are emerging with excellent performances in week 3. Give these guys a shot during a week where you might find your normal starter is on a bye week.
Miles Austin
The
Cowboys will host the
Redskins in week 4. Dallas is undefeated and will face a surging Washington team that has found a new level offensively. Miles Austin had a breakout performance on Sunday night against Green Bay. As the
Packers doubled Terrell Owens, Austin took advantage of single coverage with 115 yards and a 63 yard touchdown catch. He may just be the newest weapon in an explosive Dallas game plan.
Brandon Lloyd
The
Bears will host the
Eagles on Sunday night. Lloyd has settled into his role in the
Bears offense led by Kyle Orton. With over 200 yards this season, he is the main option in Chicago. Philadelphia will try to shut down the run led by rookie Matt Forte. The
Eagles will force Chicago to beat them through the air. Coming off of a 124 yard day in week 3, Lloyd could get plenty of chances to standout on Sunday night.
Antonio Bryant
The
Bucs will host the
Packers in week 4. In week 3, QB Brian Griese set a franchise record with 67 pass attempts in a single game. The
Bucs beat the
Bears on the road with a pass first mentality, look for them to focus on that game plan going forward. Bryant had 10 catches and 138 yards in week 3. Look for Bryant to get plenty of passes his directions on Sunday. If he can hover around the 10 catch mark, he could put up big numbers against the
Packers, who gave up 260 passing yards against the
Cowboys.
