Even though he's retired, I'd choose Michael Jordan. What he did during is college and NBA career was fenonminal. He hits clutch shots when the game is on the line and he plays awsome defence. Most of all, Michael Jordan is a great leader. He's the #1 aspect to a championship team.

Peyton Manning--> you can have no name receivers and he will make them look good..he can run the whole offense..take control of the game..and most importantly win

Basketball: Steve Nash because he can score and facilitate the offense very well, turning anyone into an all star.
Football: Michael Vick, can throw the ball pretty well, fast as any Halfback.
Soccer: DaMarcus Beasley, very atheletic, can play the forward position as well as he can play a defender.
Baseball: ??? I dont watch baseball

I would have to say Tom Brady for football, because QB is essential for a team and who's better than Brady. He is better under preassure and practices as hard as any athlete. For basketball i would go with Shaq or Jordan.

I will have to go with LT. I managed 15 teams this year and won 9 championships. All teams had either P Manning, Tony Romo or LT on them. Undefeted with 3 teams, 2 had Romo and LT with the other having Manning and LT. One team was 9th in the nation and would have won the grand prize but loaded up on QBs and RBs so I had weak WRs. M Jordan is great and watched when he played but dont watch anymore. NO DEFENCE. There are great hockey players but the sport isnt watched or covered that great by sports writers. Havnt watched a whole MLB game since the last strike. But then again there is golf and that would go to Tiger Woods hands down. How bout this one, being a Team Penske fan in all of racing my pick for best driver would have to be (hated by me) Jeff Gordon.

NOONE player can carry a team. You can have the best QB or RB ever, without an O line to protect them and make holes to run through they won't go any where. In baseball you could have a player that hits 60 hrs and has 200 rbis, but if your pitching staff has an era of 10 your not going anywhere. That said, I'd go with starting a good football team with the 2007
Chargers O-Line.

I would start with A-Rod.. Its my first season, who cares about winning?.... I want publicity and asses in the seats....and nobody causes controversy or fills the stadium like the Lightning Rod - Alex Rodriguez

LEBRON JAMES:The results from the Poll on NBA.com state that 71% of the fans who voted say that if they could start one team they're first pick would be LEBRON JAMES. Next was KOBE BRYANT with about 17% then TIM DUNCAN and STEVE NASH with 6 and 2%. 70% of GM's also say they would pick LEBRON JAMES. He has the most complete game of any player in the NBA. He gets assists, rebounds, a good shooter, can finish around the rim, good clutch shooter, team leader. He does it all.

id have to go with Ward from the
steelers cuz he can run the ball throw it and pass it because he use to be a QB for georgia and his defense is just as good as his offense

Kobe bryant he has proved tme and again that he is the most complete player in the game...he is as clutch as jordan, can hit a bucket from anywhere, with anyone guarding him...he can pass (the person he passes to just needs to make the shots.) He is a lock-down defender and has an unquenchable thirst for competion, and a good leader. He can take over a game better then anyone and he is the most feared player in the game.
