Vikings QB situation...Jackson? Holcomb? Bollinger?
Tarvaris Jackson, Kelly Holcomb, Brooks Bollinger…who will be the leader the Vikings so desperately need at the helm to bring them back to a playoff contender? Through 4 games the Vikes are 1-3, and if someone doesn’t step up at quarterback the Vikings may only win 5 or 6 games this season. There is no doubt that Adrian Peterson will be a top candidate for rookie of the year, but as the only weapon performing so far this season, things are not looking good in the twin cities. My question to you is, do you think Tarvaris Jackson was hyped up too much prior to the season? And if not Jackson, who should be given the reigns at qb?

Clearly nobody is ready to take control of the QB job. at 1-3 the vikes are pretty much done already. I say leave Jackson in with the hopes that he will become more comfortable with being a QB in the NFL. If he doesn't work out, they're gonna have a high draft pick next year and they can pick up John David Booty, or Brian Braum.

Vikings are like a lost puppy right now. No direction, I believe they need to keep an open eye for a more qualified coach other than Brad Childress. The talent to win games is there but without the right direction, nothing will come of it. So the quarterback situation is just one of many I do agree, Jackson is young and adds a ground threat even if his air attack is only effective half of the time.

i dont think they have the weapons on the outside right now..so sticking with the young jackson would not be a bad idea..he has 2 great running backs with right now rookie of the year adrian peterson and chester taylor..jackson also can do more with his athleticism then the others
