West Virginia Loses Rodriguez to Wolverines
Michigan has hired West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez as its next football coach.
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3157227
After pursuing LSU's Les Miles and Rutgers' Greg Schiano, Michigan has snatched Rich Rodriguez from West Virginia.  Rodriguez leaves behind a 60-26 record at West Virginia and has led the Mountaineers (10-2) to their fourth Big East title in five seasons.  Current Michigan coach Lloyd Carr plans to coach the Wolverines in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1 against No. 9 Florida, so will Rodriguez do the same for WV's bowl game?  I think he should have waited till the conclusion of the season to make this kind of announcement--do you think this is fair to the team?

He won't coach WV in the bowl game. So why have contracts? They don't honor them. It's like give me a contract so you have to honor it and pay me if you fire me , but I can bail when ever I want leaving my lies with the families and players I convinced to come here. BS I think every contract should have high buy outs on the contracts, like lee miles contract. It cost too much for him to leave for the Mich job

Michigan didnt snatch him, he agreed to leave and y wouldnt he want to. Of course its not fair but thats the way it is and thats the way its gonna be. Coaches, along with the rest of us, are always trying to find better jobs.
