kobe hands down...duncan is a great player but he doesnt have the flair or the determination or as a matter of the fact the pure skill bryant has.

kobe has more skill and athleticism....also dont you think its a litle hard to get finals MVP when you have a guy like shaq who is in his prime on your team? even though one of those championships he deserved it.....al everone knows that kobe has deserved at least 3 mvps but no one will actually give it too him.

u CAn compare wateva u want,but that dont mean its not DUMB.this is pointless,and u keep bringin up those mvps.when shaq was wit LA in those finals,he was the mpst dominating player in the game,how cld they have not gave him mvp???he has the record for most points in a series with 145,which he set against the nets.he always dominated.but last i checked,didnt tony parker win it last year???

Anyway.. That's why analysts says Duncan uses fundamentals with great efficiency.. because I cant imagine Duncan doing more than fundamentals :D

Wilt, Oscar Robertson, MJ.. they should not be compared to current players, only dumb people do that.

4 rings too 3. Kobe 0 nba finals mvp's, Duncan has 3. Kobe has no nba mvp's,and Duncan has 2. This is hands down ,but for Duncan. I cant wait to hear an argument that opposes Duncan in this matchup. I did it, i pulled one outta my hat, i know theirs tons of Kobe fans in here, but lets see who will be the fool and say Kobe!!!

i dont get how these 2 players can be compared. They are 2 different players, 2 different positions..Kobe is the better athlete..does that make him the better player, no? kobe is the better scorer, does that make him a better player, no..tim duncan is a better at fundamentals and leading a team and rebounding, does that make him a better player than kobe no..tim duncan will go down as one of the best power forwards to play the game and kobe like jordan will go down as one of the best shooting guards..
