Im posting yes because I'm tired of people messing with me because I think hes in the top20 of all time. My friends are always like Jimmy Smith isnt good he plays for a crappy team when actually Jimmy Smith lead his team in recieving 10years straight. Going to the playoffs atleast 4 times and been to the AFC Championship twice with a Expansion team. He was probably top 5wr's who never talked bad or too much like Owens, or C. Johnson. Either way if he doesnt make it, and barry bonds winds up havin the HRRecord then I swear im going to go Crazy.

eencina4 what are you talking about. To and Moss talked till thier face was blue. they were fast with good hands and good awr. but Smith in my opinion had better AWR, better hands. He just wasnt as fast as them. Teams still had to worry bout him jus as much as T.O. moss, holt. When ever we needed Smith he was there. Now what about to. He talks crap about his team, his QB, gets traded and then does it all again. He might have had the most TD last season but he also had the most drops. Moss, he was sorta the same. He gets to oak, and has terrible #s compared to his with the vikings. then he basically "gives up" on his team. And everyone heard the stories about him not trying so he can get traded and ect.

He had a good career was a GOOD reciever but not a halloffame. Was never the most dominant when you saw him play you were never scare of him when he played. TO, Holt, Moss you were scarred of those guys not him.
