I think Peterson has a much better chance to have a more successful rookie season. Rarely does a Rookie QB have great success...it takes more time to adjust to the speed of the NFL for a QB then any other position. Minn has a decent O-Line and Peterson had Chester Taylor to relieve him and take off some of the pressure. Looking forward to watching both of these guys play in the NFL for years to come.

Peterson. Running backs seem to make an impact before QB's. He's a tough runner and Taylor will help a lot.

Definetely peterson..He doesent have to mentally prepare for defenses like quinn does..He has to read and identify defenses,make proper audibles and checkdowns,not to mention find the open reciever and complete passes without getting your head knocked off. Also throw in something about being a leader of a team and changing the culture of losing...All peterson has to do is run the ball behind that big offensive line...

Yeah I think Brady Quinn will get his shot this year, and be a decent qb, but Peterson will make an immediate impact for the
Vikings. I think he will win rookie of the year, and he will take chester taylor's starting position.

Adrian Peterson will have a better rookie season despite being on a team that will most likely win less than half of their games this season. Peterson will do to the
Vikings what LJ did to the
Chiefs, and that is add a powerful one-two combo running attack and eventually take over as the main rusher for the Vikes. With that being said, Quinn will have success in the NFL, but it probably won't be immediate. Like AJ said, quarterbacks take more time to learn the team and offenses than do running backs do.

Brady Quinn will prove to be a middle of the road quarterback.
Peterson, on the other hand is the type of runner taylor made for the NFL. ONe has to worry about durability, which he has had issues with in college.
Peterson is not Ladanian, he's a beast unto his own kind.
Thats the type of thing you want, even as a rookie.

It's Peterson he's playing for one thing and Brady Quinn won't see time as long as Anderson keeps playing the way he is. Quinn will be a so so QB nothing great. He will Start for a losing team or end up backing up the starter.
