hes not even close he's good dont get me wrong but he's not the awnser and he cant do it all him self he needs a good defense behind him and they dont have it

Come on there is no way 1 pitcher can bring a world series trophy to any team you need at least a really strong starting 3 if not a really strong starting 4. Also you need a really great bullpen to get through the season and playoffs with. Its not like Santana is pitching every game for the Mets. At most Santana might win 20 games top.That is not going to get you a world series ring. You need a close team that can give you great defense and offense and a bullpen that can come in for the starters when they have the lead and close the game out for them and not blow the game or the save.You also need a team to score you runs, its not like Santana is going to shutout every team that he faces so there going to have to score runs for him. Then he needs the bullpen to come in and shut down the other teams hitters because I would be surprised to see Santana pitch 2-3 complete games this year. So NO Santana Alone can NOT bring a World Series Championship to the Mets....
