0-6 in six starts, era over 7, a huge bust for the Giants

I agree with you peter if this was 5 years ago...but the thing that zito is struggling with is his fastball is about as fast as his junk...he's afraid to throw anything to anybody because he is getting jacked up.....They said when he went to san fran the first thing he was doing was changing everything from his release to his windup...and they got really pissed...they didn't pay him all of that money for him to change and try something new...they wanted the cy young winner that he was before he got there....no matter what he does he's going to get rolled over...he needs to work on his fastball and get it up 4-5 mph faster then it is now...somewhere closer to where it was in oakland
