This week at Free The Fan
Got some cool things going on at Free The Fan this week. First of all, we were able to attend the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, CA from Monday to Wednesday. Got a chance to learn some new things from some of the smartest people in the business. Some of the best takeaways were sessions regarding widgets, user interface design and growing communities. We will have some interesting tweaks and advancements in the coming weeks based on the things we have learned. Also for anyone that has some suggestions on how to make the site better, or features that you would like to see improved, drop us a note in the contact us link.
We also have a great new NBA Playoff Bracket that launched this week. You can pick the teams that will conquer the NBA playoffs and one winner will receive an XBOX 360 Package. There are some really great match-ups in the first round, so it should be a very exciting NBA playoff.
One last thing. If you are adding video commentary to Free The Fan, you will really like our new video widget. You will find it on your profile page and it takes your most recent videos and puts them in a player that you can add to your Myspace page, Blog or any other social networking site. It allows you to share multiple videos and give other people a way to respond to what you've said by linking to the debate topics. Try it out and let us know what you think.
