Does anyone listen to any other coaches around the league? They all do it they all have done it. So all the coaches like Jimmy Johnson & Mike Ditka who both have come out and said YES I TAPED OTHER TEAMS DEFENSIVE SIGNALS then should lose there Superbowl titles too then. You all act like this is anew practice. This has been going on since Lombardi and Walsh were coaching... Should they lose there Superbowl Titles too??? Come on there is no way 1 pitcher can bring a world series trophy to any team you need at least a really strong starting 3 if not a really strong starting 4. Also you need a really great bullpen to get through the season and playoffs with. Its not like Santana is pitching every game for the Mets. At most Santana might win 20 games top.That is not going to get you a world series ring. You need a close team that can give you great defense and offense and a bullpen that can come in for the starters when they have the lead and close the game out for them and not blow the game or the save.You also need a team to score you runs, its not like Santana is going to shutout every team that he faces so there going to have to score runs for him. Then he needs the bullpen to come in and shut down the other teams hitters because I would be surprised to see Santana pitch 2-3 complete games this year. So NO Santana Alone can NOT bring a World Series Championship to the Mets....

The Yankees need to be very very smart with the young ace and not to be stupid in throw him into the starting rotation this year. They should let him get some innings under his belt this year and be in a spot where I my self think that the Yankees really struggled last year with.Hey i would start thinking about maybe bumping Mariano from closer to set up guy and put Joba in the closer position.Joba could end up to the Yankees what Papelbon is to the Red Sox one of if not the best closer closer in the game today and Joba could be more useful for the Yankees there Starting Mariano doesnt have much left in those legs or in that arm of his. Yankees need to think about the future and who is going to close when Mariano is gone. I think Joba would fit great in that spot and really think that his would do great with all that pressure on him. Some guys cant handle the pressure but I think Joba would excel there.....

Well I think that there will be two Cinderella teams this year. The first one ill have to say will be Saint Marys and the second on will have too be Davidson. I think that they will both pull wins off in the first two rounds but Im going to say that Saint Marys will probaly do a little better than Davidson. St.Marys will beat up on Miami in the first round pretty easily and Davidson will give Gonzaga a run for there money and end up over powering them in the last 5 mins of the second half.So good luck to Both of those Glass Slipper wearing teams and may one of you two wear that Glass Slipper for a while....

It is really going to be a coin flip this year there is at least 5-6 teams that have a real shot at winning this years tourney with Nc leading the way followed closely by Memphis and Ucla. But you also have Tennesse, Kanas and Duke that all have real shots at going all the way. Like I said there are so many top Quality teams this year it is hard to say this team is definately going to win out right.Even on top of those six Texas will probaly make a run Georgetown, and Wisconsin all have real shots of being the Champs this year.I can not remember a year with this many high quality contenders. Every year there are at least 2-4 teams that you can say you know for sure will be in the finals. This year there is no way in hell that you can say any 2 teams area lock to end up in the finals or even in the final four. It is going to be a Great March Maddness this year. Good luck to all involved ....But if you want me to pick one of them Ill have to say Memphis will pull it off in the end !!!! But it will be a lot of Madness this March..... LoL hahaha

Definately Cleveland has to take top notching here, Detriot started to show life at the end of last season.But Cleveland has come from nowhere at all. They traded off there starting QB at the beggining of the season and everyone thought that was an opening for Brady Quinn to get his feet wet, but Romell Cromell knew that Quinn was not ready to start and put in Derek Anderson who is Probaly the 3rd best Qb in the AFC right now behind Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.So Cleveland has got to be the biggest surprise so far with a noname Qb at it helms and no defense what so ever and it seems like Anderson always finds a way to come up huge and pull out a win.So i have got to give respect where respect is due and Cleveland definately deserves some serios respect and if they nbeat up on Pittsburgh this weekend then they will be on track for a nice run into January... But we will have to wait and see....But they definately have some serios weapons for Anderson in Winslow and in Braylon Edwards.. Two key guys in the future of Cleveland...

It is very significate from the Celtics going from the Second worst team in the whole NBA to probaly the Best team in the NBA or at least one of the best teams. The Celtics not have only won all of there games but they have blowout 3 out of 4 of there opponents really bad too. So I would say that it may be a while before the Celtics lose,there playing like a team that has gelled very very well together. They are also playing very very unselfish ball and that is surprising with the big three that they have. You have to give Doc Rivers alot of credit for that he has all of them on the same page and has them beliving in themselves and in they way that he is coaching them to play.Go Celts keep up the good work. Again there is not a better place to be living right now than in BOSTON Baby. Every team is winning even there soccer team is in the Championship game . Damn what a place to be from......... Please tell me a better place to be right now for sports?????? YOU CANT ....

Ya i would have to say that it is a very very smart rule. There is no need to hit another player helmet to helmet.The game is ment to be fun and you play it to win and to make a living at doing something that is already dangerous enough with out players going out there intentionally trying to hurt someone.Those hits are only used basically to hurt someone bad.There is no need for that, so players should be ejected from that game and fined very stiffly so they get the hint that the NFL will not put up with kind of stuff. The game is a game that players would like see get a little more safer for them.Everyone needs to remember these players all have families and kids that they like to go home too after every game. So they should make it safer for all of the players....

I ll have to say it is going to be either Mcfadden, Ryan or Dixon. It is going to be a tough call but i would have to say that those three guys will finish in the order of 1,2,3. In what order that will be will be determined over the last few games of the year. But as of right now i would have to put Dixon first then Mcfadden , followed by Ryan.....That is as of right now but one of those three may have outstanding games the next couple of weeks and may put one above the other but i see those three finishing right behind one another....

It may not be either one of those guys it might be Mike lowell playing third for the Yankees. Even know he is a Red Sox Loweel did come up through the Yankees minor league teams so who knows maybe he will be willing to return there to play. They may offer him alot of money to keep him out of a Red Sox uniform in 2008 I would not be surprised if you see Lowell in New York and A-rod in Boston at all. so done be surprised to see them switch third base men at all...

I would have to say that Torre and the Dodgers will have more wins than Girardi and the Yankees. I think that the Dodgers are a pretty good team to start out a new season as manager with.The Dodgers have only really been missing a Manager with the smarts enough to know what to do in those situation which only experence will help you out in. The Dodgers pitching isnt to bad with starters like Brad Penny who went (16-4 with 135 so in 208 innings), Chad Billingsley who was (12-5 with 141 so in 147 innings) Derek Lowe who had a rough year but should pitch better this season was (12-14 with 147 so in 199 innings) and Randy Wolf who was ( 9-6 with 94 so in 102 innings) Not bad starting four. There closer Takashi Saito went ( 2-1 with 39 saves and 78 so in only 64 innings) not to shabby for a closer huh?Thats there pitching, there lineup is not so bad either with players like Pierre ( 64 steals) Furcal ( 25 steals ) Martin (19 hrs & 21 steals) superman Jeff Kent (20 hrs) Gonzalez ( 15 hrs) Either ( 13 hrs) Garciaparra ( 7 hrs) and Hillenbrand ( only 1 hr) Still there line up isnt bad. On the other hand the Yankees lineup this year we all know asnt anything to write home about at the start of the season except for A-ROD who we all know is not a Yankee anymore. The Yankees lineup was great after the All-star break.With probaly the most EXPLOSIVE lineup in all of baseball they should have been hitting like that all year long.Well thats why there the highest paid team in all of baseball with players like Damon ( 12 hrs 27 steals) Jeter ( 12 hrs 15 steals) Cabrera ( 8 hrs 13 steals) Abreu (16 hrs 25 steals) Cano ( 19 hrs 4 steals) Posads ( 20 hrs 2 steals) Rodriguez ( 54 hrs 24 steals) Matsui ( 25 hrs 4 steals) Giambi ( 14 hrs 1 steal) not a bad lineup at all huh. There pitching staff was Pettitte who was (15-9 141 so in 215 innings) Wang who was there ace (19-7 104 so in 199 innings ) Musssina who went (11-10 91 so in 152 innings) Clemens who was (6-6 68 so in 99 innings ) and Igawa who was (2-3 53 so in 67 innings) and the closer Rivera who was ( 3-4 with 30 saves and 74 so in 71 innings) Not a bad pitching staff at all either.So if both manager were getting the same teams as last year back then it would be hand down that Girardi would have more wins. But thats not the case at all, well it sort of is for Torre who will be returning most all of his team. As for Girardi he will be losing some big time hitters and pitchers.I think it will be to hard for Girardi to try and make up 88 hrs 27 steals for the hitters leaving and a record of 24-19 with 283 so in 385 innings and 30 saves for the pitcher leaving. That will be a god awful task to complete.So with that being said there is now way Girardi and the Yankees will be able to match the win total of Torre and the Dodgers.So i would say that the Dodgers and Torre will Probaly finish in first place in there division,the Yankees and Girardi will probaly end up either 3-4 in the divison behind the RED SOX ,Baltimore or Toronto maybe behind all three of those teams but should finish ahead of Tampa Bay, but you never know the could end up the Cellar Dwellars if Tampa can put together a team of so sorts ( dont see that happening at all though).So the answer to your question is Torre and his Dodgers.......

I agree very much with rosie and she is 100 percent right.. it never did come from the Patriots at all.Patriot fans are very very touchy when it come to saying anything about there Pats..TRUST ME Im a huge Pats fan...She is also right about the game last year too I was there and you could really feel the heat difference from the first half to the second half in that game.Also alot of Pats fans that game though they were piping in croed noise in that game also....We may never know the truth......
