I heard Dawson wants Calzaghe. Maybe Dawson has a chance but once again I don't like the fact that Dawson keeps wanting to fight older fighters. Why can't Dawson fight young and strong fighters like Adridan "The Shark" Diaconu who has been calling Dawson for quite some time now? I sure hope I don't see Calzaghe vs Dawson next. Calzaghe did very good by beating RJJ now it's time to hang his gloves and go out on top! Hopkins should also retire going out on top by beating a younger undefeated fighter in Pavlik. I don't care to see Hopkins vs Calzaghe rematch, I thought their fight was quite dull that's just my opinion.

Let's face it J.M.Lopez has the title, he's one of the champions in his division now why would he fight Penalosa when he can try to get a bigger fight against the other champions in his division you answer that?
What has and who has J.M.Lopez fought? More like what has and who has Penalosa done to deserve a shot at J.M.Lopez? Plus the reason why J.M.Lopez won't fight Penalose is because your filipino fighter is demanding more money than the champion J.M.Lopez which makes no sense at all.

I've been waiting for many years to watch Hopkins vs RJJ in a rematch as well I would love to see James Toney vs RJJ in a rematch. James Toney beats RJJ in a rematch.

That's right baby! The experience is what got Hopkins this sweet victory plus his tricks and ring smart confused the heck out of Pavlik. What did surprise me though was Hopkins hand speed compared to Pavlik who is the younger fighter yet Hopkins looked alot faster and stronger SHAME on Pavlik. You could see the difference in level, Hopkins being a great fighter compared to Pavlik being a basic, over-rated fighter who's best win has been over Jermain Taylor.
Don't get me wrong I love Pavlik's style of fighting, come forward always looking for a knockout but he needs to learn alot more.

Hopkins EXPOSED PAVLIK for the BASIC fighter he is! Pavlik needs to work on alot, he needs to get his ass back in the gym and work on many things. Pavlik should probably consider getting a new trainer. His trainer Jack Loew had no answers for Hopkins attack none what so ever!
I said it would be Hopkins beating Trinidad played all over again and it was!
I honestly feel if Pavlik wants to redeem himself he should take a fight against Arthur Abraham next.

yes Mayhem that's exactly what I just finished saying Fernando Vargas was a shot fighter after losing to Oscar De La Hoya back in 2002.
Ricardo Mayorga is also now a shot fighter though I must say I am very surprised that Mosley knocked "El Matador" out?
I have not seen this fight yet since I was busy covering a local boxing event on Saturday night but I heard and seen photos of the outcome.
I can't wait to watch this fight.
As much as I wanted Mayorga to win, I honestly thought Mosley would win by UD decision.

Peter you know as much as I would love Mayorga to win this fight I honestly cannot see "El Matador" catching the much faster fighter in Sugar Shane Mosley.
Having said that I still believe Mayorga has that punchers chance at beating Mosley which makes this fight very interesting.

You know what got me laughing is the fact that Mosley thinks he can punch as hard since he stopped Fernando Vargas back to back but what we must all remember is Vargas was a shot fighter since losing to De La Hoya back in 2005.

Peter you know it! Raging Bull was great so was Ali played by Will Smith along with Only In America. As far as Rocky goes I've never been a fan of Stallone. All those Rocky movies SUCK! I heard Ring of Fire is a great boxing documentary that needs to be watched by every true boxing fan!

Now in this fight I ain't picking no sir it's too much of a tough call I must say. I respect both fighters who knows what the outcome will be come Saturday? I picked Campbell to beat Diaz but you know Guzman is much better than Diaz therefore I ain't sure if Campbell can beat him? At the same time I ain't too sure Guzman can beat Campbell cause the "Galaxxy Warrior" himself is good and can never be under-estimated as we've seen in the past. I can't wait for Saturday! Diaz may have won but he can't beat Campbell in a rematch nor Guzman, Casamayor or Marquez that's fo sho!
As far as Juarez goes he SUCKS! I had Barrios winning lucky for that cut he suffer that Juarez won. I would love to see a rematch between these two I believe Barrios has a great chance at beating Juarez as he was doing throughout the entire fight.

If Floyd does in fact decide to come back I have a strong feeling he will want to fight Cotto instead of Margarito. Simply because Cotto just lost therefore Mayweather would feel more confident going into a fight against the loser rather than the winner you watch. I also heard Williams wanted a rematch against Margarito prior to this past wknd, I wonder if Paul still thinks the same? In regards to Mosley and Mayorga it will be interesting to see what happens between the two as they will fight against each other later on this year, something tells me Mayorga has a good chance at beating Sugar I guess I willl wait and see once we get closer to that fight. Mayhem you know Margarito is sitting pretty, he's the man right now. Margarito is a monster! Who can stop this guy? All I have to say is Calzaghe won 10 out of 12 rounds period. Why is Bernard crying? It was Calzaghe who put the pressure throughout the entire fight and landed the most punches. In regards to the low blows, Bernard should get an oscar. Those low blows weren't that bad plus Hopkins threw low blows of his own. Of course Joe Cortez acted as he did not see the dirty tactis being thrown from Hopkins because they are friends. Hopkins get over it you lost this fight straight up!

Love what Cotto said on how he knows Margarito is dangerous and how he will concentrate on correcting any weakness he has. That's how every fighter should think, love Cotto's way of thinking. Cotto knows Margarito is strong at the same time must know Margarito weakness therefore he will work on making himself better for this fight. This should be a great fight! I can't wait!
