Beltran's career in jeopardy
According to the New York Post, Carlos Beltran's season, and possibly career, could be in jeopardy if he requires microfracture knee surgery. The 32-year-old Beltran has already required arthroscopic surgery on both knees, and the microfracture procedure is still rather experimental. NBA players Jamal Mashburn and Terrell Brandon were forced into retirement not too long after having it done.

Another problem for the Mets. If Carlos can't play baseball anymore, then I won't believe how he'll feel. Hes sort of young too.
