Although being swept in the finals , LeBron defeated the second best team in the NBA alone ,Detroit Pistons, and makes his mediocre team mates much better players. I'm a laker fan and Kobe is amazing athlete but not the most valuable to his team.

I have liked Kobe ever since he entered the league and he is the best hands down...then d-wade,then kg, then Lebron.....Lebron would be higher except he has barely any d,crappy freethrows and is not clutch.

If Kobe was the best player he would win MVP everyyear. Kobe is the best scorer and for some reason if you score alot that makes you one of the best. Even if you hardly ever pass the ball even though you have odom who is a really good player. When Kobe scores 50 points they still just bearly win, and as a matter of fact they have lost before whene he scores over 50. Wade, Nash, even Lebron can all score alot but they decided to pass. Like when it was wade vs James they each had over 40points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assist. So kobe can get 50, with takin execive shots, with 3assist if that, and 5 or 6 rebounds. I mean come on. If you take 100shots in a game you tend to score alot.

are you saying Ai cant dominate a game like Kobe, Iverson dominates both as a scorer and playmaker, if kobe gets 30 points hes not getting more than 3 assists, I've seen kobe have 10plus assist games but in those games he hardly ever shoots, hes one dimensional he cant do both consistently and dont tell me that nobody nobody on the lakers team can score either i dont wanna hear that shyt, AI has matured into the ultimate offensive player that dominates a game consistently both by passing and scoring, wait till next year after training camp when the Nuggets build chemistry and Iverson averages 10plus assists, around thirty points and leads the league in steals, then tell me that you would rather have stupid ass arrogant Kobe Bryant on your team instead of Allen muthafukkin Iverson and Iversons team that he carried all the way to the finals was a worse supporting cast than Kobe has now, Kobe doesnt know how to be a franchise player, his only success was when he had another superstar as the franchise player, i think you know who that would be, hey it seems that every player that has won a title with Shaq on their team are the best players in the world huh your so stuck on Kobe and Wade and sure Kobe doesnt like his team, but did you ever wonder how much his team likes him? Killa is has a good point 2. AI is one of the best in the leauge aswell, and now that he has melo, they get it on track there gonna be a force. I think Kobe is the better "scorer" but ai is the better "PLAYER" so is wade, nash, shaq, so on and so. If kobe does bad his team does ok. There never gonna be a powerhouse in the east with only 1 superstar, BUT he does have a good team they just arent superstars. I mean, kidd and carter. they havent done nothing and those 2 are some of the biggest stars in the game atspecially when they first got on the team. But my point again is Shaq lead that team aswell, even though in the NBA Finals Wade just took over and crushed dallas atspecially in the 4th quarter it was shaq that really got them there. So what ever team you put Shaq on is going to do pretty good and going to elevate his team.
