He will no doubt opt out. This however does not mean he will leave the Yankees. In fact the Yankees will be the only team able to pay Arod 30 mil a year. And it will get that high because the Angels will sniff around at him for 25 mil a year.

Silva are you serious? Opting out does not mean he will leave the Yankees. He will absolutely Opt out. He would be crazy not to. He will opt out and start negotiating another $200 million deal with the Yankees. He isnt stupid...he needs to stay here otherwise he will have no team legacy. If he resigns with the Yankees he will BE a Yankee and go into the HOF as a Yankee. If he leaves what cap will he wear in the Hall??? One with Dollar signs on it?

i think he wants to stay in NY i think he will opt out but he will want to remain a yankee...and they will give him what he deserves with the season he is having this year
