as much as i hate to say this but........it has to be the freaking
patriots
. the only team that i can see that could possible be
patriots
killers are the
colts
. and if the
patriots
manage to win the super bowl this year, it will be the most miraculous accomplishment by far. i was not around to see the 72
dolphins
go undefeated but you have to realize alot of things have change in this modern era of the nfl since then and if the
patriots
pull it off, it is nice to watch it happen...........

Dallas
Cowboys
. They have finally played as a total unit and their team cohesiveness is unmatched. New Englad
Patriots
were a close second but I think NFL teams have figured them out and they should be prepared for another disappointing playoff loss - probably by Indianapolis.

I have to say the New England
Patriots
if they finish the season off undefeated. Simply put that is a tremendous accomplishment and one most historically great NFL teams cannot say they have achieved. As far as the Gators are concerned, the exact reason mr.Massielo thinks(Back to Back titles with same starting five) the Gators should win best team of 2007 is the reason i think they should not. In an era when college players leave college as fast as they can for the pro's, it is unfair for a team like florida who was practically a semi-pro basketball team playing amatuers to win such an award. If Ohio State's stars had the college experience Florida's guys had ,i think that would have been much more of a game than Florida's "ringers", beating up on a bunch of 18 & 19 year old kids.

THE HAWAII RAINBOWS. THERE ARE SO MANY TEAMS IN NCAA FOOTBALL AND THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES TO GO UNDEFEATED! HOW MANY TEAMS ARE IN PRO FOOTBALL 30? CMON THE RAINBOWS DESERVE THIS ESPECIALLY IF THEY WIN AGAINST GEORGIA.

definetly green bay no one ever thought that they would win as many games as they did with such a young team.......brett favre is having the best season of his career, the defense is good, the wide outs are getting open alot, and ryan grant has been huge since he became their starting back.definetly a big surprise compared to how they did last year

The unheard of is now heard of. Going 16-0 in the regular season the New England
Patriots
have showed why they are the team to beat. With multiple weapons, like Brady's rocket arm, Moss's ability to make something out of nothing and a veteran defense makes the Pats a sure contender for this years team of the year!!!!

wow thelma thanks for making my point for me better.. Thelma: "n an era when college players leave college as fast as they can for the pro's, it is unfair for a team like florida who was practically a semi-pro basketball team playing amatuers to win such an award" --> Hello ..they all had an opportunity to leave and get picked int he lottery in 2006 but they stayed for the love of the game..do you know how hard it is to make it to the final 4 in consecutive years, none the less the title, game, none the less the title???..and in my opinion Greg Oden, Conley, Cook, are better than what Florida had at their positions..college basketball is not about experience, like 2003, Syracuse 4 freshmen in the staring 5 and 1 sophomore.. its only happened one other time..you cant count the
patriots
in 2007 because they havent won anything..16 regular season games wow..if they dont win the superbowl they will be forgotten..

Hmmmm... Making your point better? Yeah its nice that Florida got all its players back, but it diminishes their accomplishment in my opinion. Most of the other contenders were playing with freshman or sophmore leadership. It does not matter if the
Patriots
do not win Superbowl because the 16-0 all happened in 2007.It will not matter as far as Bradys legend goes either because he already has 3 titles and now he also has TD record and a perfect regular season.
