I say the Pats win this game, could be a blow out or could be close. I'm guessing close 27-16. The jags pass Defense is not strong enough to stop Brady and Company. If they double team Moss, Welker will be there to kill em. Difference maker will be the MVP Brady.

If the Jags can run the ball effectively, keeping the Pats offense off of the field as much as possible, and on defense get good pressure on Brady. I really think they have a chance. And if you have a lead, play like you have a lead please! (No 40 yard bombs and getting picked off *looks at Kyle Boller grudgingly* and losing the game) The real difference maker will be Grady Jackson for the Jags, if he can be a playmaker like he was in the Pittsburgh game getting good pressure and being a runstopper, the Pats will have their hands full in this one.

You said it, rbellew, the Jaguar "D" has got to keep Brady and Moss off of the field and use they're double threat of Taylor and MJD to control the clock on offense. Garrards is still the key, even after two picks he comes up with the rushing yardage needed to rally back. That's just what he needs to do, step up and lead this team to a victory.

"nhughes32" Nothing's impossible and I garuantee New England felt the same way until the Ravens had they're meltdown because Baltimore had'em cold. With Justin Durant and Sammy Knight applying pressure on Brady, along with Rashead Mathis and Terry Cousins in the back field, Jacksonville has the best chance of knocking NE out of it. Let Brady nickle and dime us, we want him to work hard for it, sooner or later he'll slip up and when he does we'll capitalize. You're right this is'nt Madden, wich means there are no "Ringers" and NE is'nt garuanteed anything!!...Go Jags!!

I got the Patriots, although i see why the jaguars are picked by many to win.Jacksonville has the #1 running game in the AFC, #3 offense, and #6 defense in the AFC. Also the Patriots have not encountered a scrambling Qb like Garrard all year. Garrard has been great this season by only throwing 3 Interceptions in the regular season, but in the playoff game against Pitt he threw 2 INT's. In order to beat these Patriots you must play almost perfect football for 60 min's and the spotlight of the Playoffs may overwhelm Garrard again.Ultimately i believe the Jags #11th ranked pass defense plus the preassure of the playoffs will be what the Patriots exploit to eventually win the game.

Im rooting for the Jags, but they have to play a perfect game..They have to pound NE into submission. And somehow play from ahead instead of from behind..I just dont know if they have enough firepower...

HOW IS NOONE BACKING THE PATRIOTS?!?!?! I'm sorry but there is no way the Jags can win it (unless Jimmy Smith comes out of retirement...lol j/k) In response to ChargedNation619 about doubling Moss AND pressuring Brady. It's hard enough to do either one but both... It's impossible... It leaves way too much underneath for Brady to nickel and dime them down the field... were not playin Madden '08 here chief

THE PATS HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE AND HAVE WAY TO MANY WEAPONS FOR JAGS TO HANDLE.I ALMOST WENT ON A LIMB AND PICKED THIS AS MY UPSET BUT WOKE UP. YEAH JACKSONVILLE WILL BE PHYSICAL BUT THE PATRIOTS ARE VETERANS AND HAVE BEEN THROUGH PLENTY OF BATTLES BEFORE.

The Patriots have had two full weeks to stew over their satisfying, yet uninspiring Week 17 victory over the new York Giants. Although they performed like gangbusters for most of the season, New England looked somewhat lethargic and lackluster in the final few weeks of the regular season. Two weeks is plenty to heal any lingering injuries. And to allow diabolical coach Bill Belichick to call each and every one of the Patriot's girls' names, stoking a testy fire of anger and aggression for tonight's game. Jacksonville is everyone's favorite sleeper pick, the loveable underdog, etc. etc. Forget it. Tom Brady is undefeated in the playoffs and so is Belichick. There's no way they lose this game. I expect the Patriots to come out firing on all cylinders, destroying the Jags and crushing the hopes that any team may have a chance to actually beat them this post-season.
