Should the Eagles trade Donovan McNabb?
McNabb is on the block, despite what anyone says. Two of the teams that have admitted interest are teams that are coached by former Eagles coaches (Brad Childress for the Vikings and Harbaugh in Baltimore). So it's all about the deal right? Is there a right deal for a top level quarterback? Can the Eagles afford to go without McNabb and start an A.J. Feeley or (gulp) Kevin Kolb?

Now's the time to trade with CHI, MIN, and BAL all looking for a quality QB with proven playoff experience. Philly should look to the future, they're getting old and so is Donovan. He's been injury prone as of late. Get some draft picks and build for the future.

mcnabb is washed up..he is so injury prone and then when he does play the 6-7 games of the season he has maybe 1-2 good games but the rest are terrible.

Not a McNabb fan in the least. He has never won a thing, not even in college. The Eagles have a choice, be mediocre with him or terrible without. No brainer, just get some damn recievers...

you can't honestly say Philadelphia would be better off without him...and anyone who says that is delirious....How could they even contend without him....if he stays healthy this guy is a pro bowl caliber player....If i had to choose between aj feeley who sucked really bad for the dolphins or mcnabb or kevin kolb from houston out of all places...you have to go with mcnabb who took his team to how many nfc championships and to the superbowl .....I gotta go with him......and I still have to disagree with the stamtement that philly is getting older....they can still contend....they barely were out of the playoffs with feeley at qb....this team still got talent, and should be good for the next couple of years...however they won't be at all good if they don't have mcnabb

no they can not trade this guy..towards the end of the season he started looking like old donovan..it takes 1 full year to recover from a knee injury he had..if they get rid of him they will regret it

A quarterback is only as good as his recievers...case and point. You'll never get anywhere as a team if you don't have faith in your players and surround them with the tools they need to become competetive!!
