Steven Jackson struggled with injury last season but the 24 year old still managed to rush over 1000 yards on 237 carries. Entering his 5th season, what is the future of Jackson?

The Rams finished at the bottom of the NFC West with a 3-13 record. With a limited amount of time in a running back's career can Jackson re-emerge as one of the best backs in football in 2008?

He has plenty left. That whole OL was hurt causing Bulger and Jackson to get hurt because of poor blocking. Holty played on a bad knee all year...it was just a terrible season in STL...next year could ad should be a lot different. Not saying they will win 10 games but Jax should have a much better year.

I dont think i should respond to this of course he has something left he just started but you never know some players are to prone to injury but this guy looks like a tough player we'll see. Hopefully he doent turn into a ronnie brown.

I think he has a ton of gas left in the tank. He was just hampered by an injury prone season. He was injured early and instead of taking the smart road of just letting it heal and giving it time he was pushed back on the field to early. When you play injured you can't make the plays you usually do. I expect to see a healthy and dominant Jackson again. That is dependent on the OL, Bulger, and the OC being able to keep the defense honest and not stacking up against the run.

He played pretty well even when he wasn't fully recovered. After a whole off-season to regain his form, he should be back better than ever.

Bright future ahead, he just needs the ball in his hands...I think he's one of the better backs in the league...if he gets better blocking, could be a pro bowler on a consistent basis.

THIS IS REALLY A STUPID QUESTION I MEAN THE GUY GETZ HURT AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT HE CAN HANDLE BEING A NUMBER ONE BACK I MEAN ARE YOU SERIOUS THAT IS SO DUMB STEPHEN JACKSON IS ONE OF THE BEST BACKS IN THE GAME RIGHT KNOW AND IF HE WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN HURT HE WAS ON PACE TO PROBALY BE A TOP FIVE RUSHER FOR THE YEAR SO OF COURSE HE HAS ENOUGH LEFT IN THE TANK

this should not even be a ?. he missed like 5 games and still had 1000 yards on the season. he had 1000 yards with probally the worst O-line in the league. the rams were signing people off of the streets and started them the next week.so for him to have 1000 yards is incredible.
