i never thought pennington was that bad, he managed games. he just wasn't the type that was going to win you many games

i mean that he's not going to be the reason you are winning, not that his team just won't be winning. throw pennington on the bears two years ago and they would have won the superbowl, a team that simply needed a quarterback that could manage an offense. that's the type of place where he could use a fresh start
